Design and functionality

The TP1500 Basic color is equipped with a 15-inch TFT display available in 256 colors. 1024 x 768 pixel resolution allows complex operating screens to be displayed at the right size including color representation. The interface can be operated by means of a resistive analog touch screen. tP1500 Basic color is the ideal HMI component for medium to high level S7-1200 controller systems. It can be configured using WinCC flexible Compact or the HMI configuration software of the STEP7 Basic Engineering Configuration Software for S7-1200. The TP1500 provides basic HMI functionality (alarms, trend curves, recipes) for 500 variables. An entry-level package is also available, which, in addition to the WinCC flexible Compact configuration software, provides the SIMATIC HMI Manual Collection on DVD, an Ethernet cable, and a certificate for one year's software upgrade service, all at a significant price advantag
