Siemens Exquisite Series Touch Panel

Siemens Exquisite Series Touch Panels are a completely redesigned line of touch and key panels with 4 to 12 inch wide screens. These devices are characterized by the same superior functionality regardless of the size chosen. All devices feature high resolution 16 Mio color displays, large viewing angles and the ability to adjust brightness from 0 to 100 percent.

Fields of application

SIMATIC HMIComfort Panels are HMI devices for advanced HMI tasks in PROFIBUS as well as PROFINET environments. Thanks to the freely selectable display sizes from 4, 7, 9 to 12 in touch and key panels and the possibility of mounting touch panels horizontally and vertically, they can be installed on virtually any machine and perform at an extremely high level. The panels can be used in ExZone 2 hazardous areas without the need for an additional enclosure.

-Wide panels with exactly the same frame opening, Andor can increase the display size for the customer by up to 40 percent; the increased space increases the portion of the application that can be visualized in the display. Design and Functionality

The SIMATIC HMIComfort Panel series consists of 4 pushbutton panels, 3 touch panels and 1 pushbutton touch panel. All devices can only be configured with the new HMI software WinCC V11.

-KP400 COMFORT is a 4-inch keypad panel with a display resolution of 480x 272 pixels. Its installation is compatible with OP 77B

-KTP400 COMFORT installation is compatible with TP 177B 4 and offers a touch screen (480 x 272 px) and 4 additional function keys

-The KTP700 Comfort has an 800 x 480 pixel touch screen and its installation is compatible with the TP 177, MP 177 and TP 277, but offers a display size of 40 percent more.

-The KP700 Comfort (800 x 480 px) installation is compatible with the OP 277.

The KP900 and TP900 Comfort have the same display resolution as the 7-inch devices and, due to the large display, are more convenient when viewed from a longer distance.

The 12-inch devices KP1200 and TP1200 Comfort have a typical PC display with a resolution of 1280x 800 pixels.

The Runtime Software of the devices includes archives and scripts, an Internet browser and, upon delivery, a PDF reader, Excel and Word files.The Comfort Panel's range of touch panels can be mounted and operated in landscape or portrait orientation, so that you only have to choose the correct orientation when configuring them. The keypad devices of the Comfort Panel series are operated by means of a cell phone input device equipped with a keypad and various keys for the respective commands. All devices are designed for use in PROFIBUS and PROFINET environments. A 4-inch device for PROFIBUS, a PROFINET interface and two USB ports are available here. Larger devices are also available with: 2 x PROFINET, 1x PROFIBUS, 3x USB and an audio interface.
