Siemens Touch Panel KTP300

The Siemens Touch Panel KTP300 is used as a panel for HMI tasks with limited complexity; it is used on PROFINET networks; it is particularly suitable for installation directly on the machine under space-constrained conditions, and it can be used in combination with SIMATICS7-1200 controllers as well as other controllers. The device can replace the panel, text display, and alarm indicators with a single device.

Design and functionality

The KTP300 Basic mono is equipped with a 3.6-inch FSTN display that provides a 240x 80 pixel solution for displaying operating screens of low complexity. It comes with 10 freely configurable function keys. The keypad is designed like a cell phone keypad, allowing intuitive and fast input of numbers and text.

The KTP300 Basic mono is the ideal HMI component for small S7-1200 controller systems. It can be configured using WinCC Basic V11. The KTP300 can provide basic HMI functionality (alarms, trend curves, recipes) for 250 variables.

The backlight color can be programmed (white, green, yellow or red) and assigned to various alarms. Therefore, the KP300 can also be used as a replacement for alarm indicators without additional wiring, I/O assignment and programming.
